If you are connecting from
outside the TIFnet network, you will need to check
"My
Server Requires Authentication" in your e-mail client in order to
send mail.
Do
NOT check "Secure Password Authentication."
Also,
some service providers (like AT&T/SBCGlobal) block outgoing E-mail
access
to
servers other than their own. If you are still unable to send E-mail
after enabling
authentication,
you may need to change the "port" from 25 to 2525 in the
advanced
settings
for your outgoing server.
